Punching Nazis, an American duty

American Nazi Richard Spencer was punched in the head during a live interview with ABC News during Trump’s inauguration on Friday, and I’m gonna be completely honest here:

I could watch this shit ALL. FUCKING. DAY.

I keep watching. Even though I never see a shield, I’m fairly certain the puncher is Captain America. And if he isn’t, he damned well ought to be.

I’ve already heard many people say that by punching a nazi in his face, that they’re ‘normalizing’ him. I’m sorry — did you miss the part where he was being interviewed by ABC News? Or did you miss the fawning pieces done by mainstream media in the weeks leading up to the inauguration that spoke about how ‘dapper’ and ‘erudite’ Spencer was a spokesperson for the alt-wrong?

YOU may have missed that. I did not. So all I can say is “Fuck that shit.”

Then there are the ‘good liberals’ who offer sympathy to Spencer for getting punched in the dome.

Fuck THAT shit in particular. I guess y’all also missed the last year and a half, where every white supremacist in the country was talking about shipping people off in cattle cars if Trump was victorious.

For SOME of us, this is still the United States of America. Some of us are still the good guys. Some of us still know wrong when we see it, no matter the nice and normalizing rhetoric that the modern American Nazi party puts out there. We remember that Hitler’s rise led to World War II. We remember that SIX MILLION Jews were killed by Nazis carrying out Hitler’s orders. We remember the Romani people who were killed, the disabled who were murdered, the women who were raped, and the people the Nazis ‘experimented’ on (tortured). And we also remember the lessons Captain America taught us:

It’s OK to punch Nazis. In fact, it’s our duty.

Indy knew it was his duty to punch a motherfucking Nazi. It’s yours, too.

Richard Spencer’s problem is that he hasn’t been punched in the head nearly enough. Ordinarily, I wouldn’t condone violence. It should be the last resort, used when the bullies and the bad guys simply won’t leave you alone. It’s called for in desperate times.

My friends, look around you. The times are desperate indeed. An unqualified bigoted molester holds the office of president, and has emboldened the pussy-grabbers, the KKK, the ‘white nationalists’ (that’s Nazis, in case you were forgetting), the rapists, and the unbridled magpie billionaire class because he either tacitly or implicitly approves of them.

Nazis deserve no rest. They deserve no safe space from which to spout their ideas. When you see a Nazi, punch a Nazi. It’s what Captain America would do.
